The first pair of wooden skis are created in Voiron by Abel Rossignol.
1956
Laurent Box-Vives buys the society off to become an international group.
1970
Rossignol becomes the first ski producer in the world.
2012
The ski manufactures in Sallanches and Artès are modernized and a new label « France Origins Guaranteed » is created.
