Abramo Vitale creates the « Calzificia Torinese » company that produces socks for athletes.
1967
The brand becomes officially « Kappa ».
1969
During a photo shoot for the Beatric bathing suits catalogue, Abramo has the idea of what will be Kappa’s mythical logo : a man and a woman sitting back-to-back shooted against light.
1981
Kappa becomes the US’s athletic official sport equipment supplier for the world championship.
1994
Kappa is bought out by the Italian group, BasicNet which relaunches the brand in a record time.
2018
Kappa and the iconic K-Way brand launch a collab.
